The Xambox!
The Xambox will revolutionize the way you organize your papers! With the Xambox, you never need to sort your papers again, yet you'll never lose that important document. The Xambox gives a new definition to "File Pile"!
ZurvitaChoice
In a questionable economy, ZurvitaChoice by MX Energy gives you an opportunity to lock in a 3 year rate on your Energy bill (currently 5 states). If you choose to sell energy, you get paid when your customer pays their energy bill!
The filing revolution is happening: It’s time for messy filing!
Messy filing is a totally innovative organization method that offers you the ability to relocate documents without ever having to sort.
Used for paper, the Xambox is the very incarnation of this concept.
A novel solution for physical filing of documents, breaking with the traditional methods imposed on us for five centuries, it allows you to relocate documents instantly without ever having filed them.
We are convinced that this concept will become a universal practice in the years to come.
A first step was made with the arrival on the market in 2003 of the desktop, an indexing tool of digital data contained within a computer. Today, this vision is broadening and the primary objective is to abolish traditional filing by completely rethinking the organization of the construction of paper filing. File no longer to better relocate your documents!
The Advantages of chaotic filing:
- It is multi-user, independent of individual systems (contrary to structured sorting which depends on everyone’s specific ways of filing), and compatible with all types of organization.
- It saves a lot of time (instantaneous filing, very fast recovery) and allows you to concentrate on valuable creative activities and minimizes time spent on off-putting tasks (so you can analyze documents instead of sorting them).
- It encourages creativity by freeing you up from the strangleholds of reflection and organization schemes.
The Xambox is the simpliformant solution: Place your documents in the Xambox’s feeder and press the button
The Xambox draws in the documents by way of a scroling scanner, connected to the computer by a USB 2.0 cable. It is compatible with Windows and Linux;
By using optical character recognition (OCR) tools as well as an optimized database for indexing, the Xambox identifies the documents and classifies the data;
The data is then saved, locally or in a network, allowing multiple users to consult the documents associated with the same Xambox. Later, when you are looking for a document, whether you use a single or multiple-computer system, just type in one keyword, and the Xambox will relocate it in two forms: Digital form of a paper document:
- Visualizing the plain text of the document ,
- Obtaining the facsimile of the original in PDF;
- Localization of the (physical) original:
- The Xambox indicates the exact position of the document in its tray: "Your document is in tray #2, the third page past the divider #7"
By simply xamboxing your documents, it will store and keep them limitlessly in their trays. Intuitively search for your documents
Having analyzed all your documents’ data, the Xambox relocates any word contained within the documents. So, if you only remember one word of the entire text, for example, the Xambox is still able to show you the document on your screen and indicate its physical position.
Efficiently relocate the data
With its system of tracking the documents, the Xambox shows you the exact physical position of the document in its tray: "Your document is in tray #2, the third page past the divider #7". It also indicates the most recent activity that was carried out on the document (entry date, added commentary, date borrowed or of permanent removal, recall, ...)
Obtain a facsimile of your documents
By simply clicking on the preview of the document, you will access its digital format. The facsimile obtained is available for consultation in PDF.
Attaching your documents to e-mails
All the xamboxed documents can be sent by e-mail. The Xambox automatically connects to your e-mail client (e.g. Outlook) as soon as you want it to. Practical: send all your invoices to your accounts office by e-mail!
Photocopy without the original
It is possible to print your documents with the Xambox software without even touching the (physical) original document. A simple click and you can xerox your document by printing out a copy from your office printer. It saves a considerable amount of time, given that 25% of the workday is used to look for information, regardless of the type of company !
Borrow a document and put it back simply on the top of the pile
When the Xambox indicates the exact position of the document, you can then use it, remove it and consult it. Next, you just have to place it back on the top of the tray’s pile and the Xambox will record its new position. That’s also what we mean by simpliformance. Definitively remove a document and preserve its digital trail
The Xambox stores but also memorizes information, whether you keep the paper document or not. With Xambox, you keep a digital trail of your documents even if they no longer physically exist. Illustration : when you receive a check, it is wise to keep a trail. Xambox it and then send it to your bank. That way, you keep a trace of it, and in case of a claim, you will no longer be taken by surprise.
The Xambox, light in weight with a sleek and refined shape, is no larger than a small printer. Its subdued colors, lacquered white and iridescent orange, and its upscale varnished trays allow it to integrate perfectly into all work environments.
The Xambox was designed by the French designer Germain Bourré. He created its chic and and innovative design.
Germain Bourré, Designer of the Xambox
Germain Bourré, French designer, graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et de Design in Reims in 2000. He created his studio in Paris in 2005 after working with Jean-Marie Massaud and his team for five years. As a project manager, he has learned to link the demands of an uncompromising design to the economic and human realities of large companies such as Lancôme, Renault, Cassina, Cappellini...
Today, he works in sectors ranging from product design (Bouygues Télécom, Xamance) to interior design (la MAS 1 000 m2 Paris 13e, Hôtel de Sèvres Paris 6e) as well as culinary design of which he is one of the precursors. He collaborates notably with the pastry chef Pierre Hermé for the creation of a line of cases and containers for the exhibition «The taste of my skin» in the entrance hall at Louis Vuitton Tokyo.
In July 2007, the French Pavillion at Lisbon’s Architecture Triennial invited him to expose his "archisablés."
As he is continually seeking authenticity, he loves mixing technique and know-how, hence displacing the conventional limits of design...
