What is a Mod?

Mod is short for Modular,
Wikipedia describes the word as:

"A Module is a self-contained component of a system, which has a well-defined interface to the other components; something is modular if it includes or uses modules which can be interchanged as units without disassembly of the module. Design, manufacture, repair, etc. of the modules may be complex, but this is not relevant; once the module exists, it can easily be connected to or disconnected from the system."

Mod Advantage

There are several advantages to the Mod-1 over other direct to garment printing systems. These advantages were created from customer feedback with the Flexi-Jet DTG printer. The Mod-1 was designed to elimate all of these issues.

1. Adaptation: The module can be adapted to future products. Since the module literally takes seconds to swap out, future products that the module can adapt to, open the possibility of what can be accomplished in inkjet digital printing.

2. Ink system: Our ink system will not allow air into the lines causing problems with clogging. The disadvantage of a closed system is cost, since cartridges cost more, etc. Our ink system gets rid of pricing issues, giving you the ability to purchase ink in bulk and still prohibit air from integrating into your lines.

3. White Ink: White ink is always an issue. Although the ink has improved since being released, settling still can occur. The Mod-1 is the first machine to truly address this issue. As long as your machine is turned on, white ink will NEVER settle in the lines, heads or cartridges.

4. Warranty: When a machine would go down, a tech would have to flying to the customer if the problem could not be addressed over the phone. This costs Belquette and the customer time and money. With our 1, 2 or 3 year Advanced Replacement Warranty , if there are complications with your module that cannot be resolved by phone or email, we will overnight (next business day), a module to you. Simply swap out our module with yours and you will be back up and running the next day. No more long waits and down time.

5. Speed: The Mod-1 is designed for speed. Printing full size images in about 45 seconds and on darks, 2 - 2:30 minutes. The Mod-2 allows for even faster printing when set up with 8 channels of white and dual CMYK.

How to Purchase

Since demand is high on the Mod-1, we are offering a couple of ways for you to purchase in the order in which we receive requests. We don't want our customers to pay in full for a machine that may not be ready to deliver for 4-6 weeks because of the demand. If you would like to secure a place on our waiting list, we ask for a $100 non-refundable deposit. When you follow through with your purchase, the $100 is applied towards the final cost of your machine.

If you know for sure you want to purchase a Mod-1 or Mod-2 and would like it sooner, then a 10% down payment is required with the balance due a minimum of 1 week before the scheduled ship date of your printer. You then will be placed in line before the $100 depositers and after the last person or company who deposited 10%. This helps us determine those who need it quicker. If you are not in a hurry, then the $100 Deposit will secure your place in line. At any time you decide to place the full 10% down, your place in line will be moved in the same manner.

We accept credit cards for deposits only, all other funds must be a certified check or wire transfer.
